We welcome all and actively support the Lafayette and West Lafayette people through acts of service and missions.
03 What To Expect
You can expect a warm and friendly welcome and a relaxed community of believers. We have a traditional worship service starting at 10:30 am with live streaming.
Rev. Dr. David Boyd
Senior Pastor
I believe that God led you here. To this page, to this paragraph, to this moment. I know that because I know that God led me here. It is only by God's clear guidance and direction that I am serving at Stidham UMC, and I am thankful for what God is doing in my life and in the lives of our congregation. My family and I moved to Lafayette in the summer of 2024, and I currently pastor Stidham, and Armstrong Chapel in Warren County.
I pastored in mega churches for almost 20 years before God took my life and messed it up. God's work within me - almost broke me, but I can now see the beautyof the Refiner's fire. During Covid, I returned to church work by preaching at UMC churches, and then God made it clear that I should keep moving forward. I love being a pastor, and helping people walk and work through the difficult times of life. If I can be of help to you, please reach out.
When I am not being a pastor, I enjoy playing video games, and reselling toys, and being with my family- which consists of Rachel my wife, my three boys (Josiah, Andrew and Toby), and our dog Mack.
